Simmarjit’s practice areas include Corporate, Commercial, Real Estate, Wills and Estates and Immigration Law.Before moving to Canada in 2004, Simmarjit earned a Bachelor of Laws degree at the Panjab University, Chandigarh, India and was called to the Bar of India in 1998. She went on to obtain Master of Laws in Corporate law in 2000. Simmarjit was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2009 and practised in British Columbia for more than 8 years. Thereafter, she relocated to Ontario and was admitted to Law Society of Ontario in 2017. Simmarjit has acted as a volunteer instructor at Professional Legal Training Course with Law Society for British Columbia. She has also served on the Board of Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society now called Immigrant Welcome Center.Simmarjit is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi and can understand Urdu.
