Born in Northern Ireland Alan immigrated to Canada with his family in 1966.
Alan has been a resident of Airdrie since 1982 and has practiced law in Airdrie since 1998 and also runs a
small real estate development company. Alan previously served as an Alderman in the City of Airdrie for
15 years until 1998.

In his free time, he enjoys getting out on the road on his motorcycle, Travelling, Playing Tennis in
Arizona, and rec league hockey. Alan and his Wife also enjoy spending time with their 2 children and 6
Grandchildren.
