Description
Andrea W.K. Lee is certified as a Specialist in Construction Law by the Law Society of Ontario. She is a partner of the leading construction law firm of Glaholt LLP, and has been recognized by Lexpert and Benchmark Litigation.

Ms. Lee received a B. Arch from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Architecture & Landscape Design, and an LL.B. from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law.

Ms. Lee represents owners, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors in complex disputes involving infrastructure, institutional, residential, healthcare and commercial projects. Ms. Lee also provides advice with respect to construction contracts and design agreements.

Ms. Lee is the Vice Chair of the Construction & Infrastructure Law Section Executive of the Ontario Bar Association and the Chair of the CanBIM Legal Committee. She is a fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, and a member of The Advocates’ Society, Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and Canadian Association of Women in Construction.

Ms. Lee has published articles on construction law issues and contributed to the texts Halsbury’s Laws of Canada, Construction, and Review of Construction Law: Recent Developments. She speaks regularly at legal and industry events and is the course instructor of construction law at Queen’s University and Osgoode’s LLM program. Ms. Lee also mentors young lawyers through the OBA’s Mentorloop.
