Description
Ashley is an associate in McCarthy Tétrault LLP’s Business Law Group in Toronto with a focus on competition/antitrust law and foreign investment review. Her practice encompasses all aspects of competition law, including mergers and acquisitions, marketing and distribution practices, abuse of dominance, criminal and civil investigations, and compliance matters.
Ashley completed Western University’s JD/MBA program in 2017. Upon completion, she was awarded the Bernard and Bessie Wolf Scholarship for attaining the highest average in the joint program. During the program, three of Ashley’s course papers were published in peer-reviewed academic journals and Ashley was recognized on Western Law’s Dean’s Honor List. Before returning to school, Ashley spent seven years living and working in the United Arab Emirates for a prestigious international airline.
Ashley was called to the Ontario bar in 2018. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association, and Ontario Bar Association.
