At the ripe old age of eleven, I was already dreaming of becoming a lawyer. I pictured myself starting my own firm, fighting for my clients in court, and winning cases.

I followed my dreams and completed both my undergraduate degree as well as my law degree at the University of Victoria. I quickly developed a passion for criminal law and justice and decided that I wanted to focus my career on criminal litigation. In my second year of law school, I completed a work term with the prosecution in Yellowknife and found that working in the north was a great way to gain skills and an excellent foundation in the practice of law.

After graduation I travelled north again, this time to the Peace Region where I was born and raised. I spent three years practicing criminal defense law, representing clients in both Provincial and Supreme Court. I had the good fortune, as a young lawyer, to spend most of my days in court honing my skills and advocating on behalf of my clients in a wide variety of hearings and trials. When not in court, I was either meeting with clients to discuss strategy to ensure they had a thorough understanding of their case or negotiating with Crown counsel to find the best resolutions for my clients.

I moved back to Victoria in 2018 and took on an exciting new challenge moving from criminal work to focus on civil litigation. I was privileged to learn from skilled lawyers and enjoyed applying the litigation experience I had developed in criminal defense to personal injury files in Supreme Court.

By 2020 I had the experience and the drive to take the next step. I was ready to invest myself and my future in Victoria. I wanted to build something from the ground up that could provide unique and full-service representation for my community here on the Island, so I founded Corvus Law. Now, I work with an excellent team of lawyers and staff and our firm continues to grow. We are young, we are hungry, and we are driven to provide the best service available to our clients. I could not be prouder of what we have accomplished so far. I am excited to continue to develop relationships and assist clients with their legal needs.

In my off time, I enjoy cycling, travelling (in the before times), and a good puzzle.
