Description
Daniel is an associate in the Corporate Group. Daniel advises on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities, corporate governance, private equity, and venture capital transactions. Daniel also advises on matters related to public and private investment funds, including fund formation and structuring.

Daniel completed a secondment to Stikeman Elliott’s New York office in 2024.

Professional Activities
Daniel is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Canadian Bar Association.

Background
During his articles, Daniel was seconded to the legal team of a major Canadian bank where he worked on a variety of commercial and regulatory matters including with their mergers and acquisitions and technology and innovation teams.

Daniel graduated from the J.D. program at Western University and completed a semester abroad at the University of Hong Kong where he studied international business law. Prior to law school, Daniel was a compliance officer for a major Canadian investment firm and played on the varsity baseball team at Queen’s University where he majored in biology.
