Description
David Feldman is an associate in the Competition & Foreign Investment Group. He assists clients with the review of transactions under the Competition Act and the Investment Canada Act. David also advises on compliance issues related to the Competition Act, federal and provincial marketing and advertising laws and regulations, as well as various other regulatory issues.

Professional Activities
David is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is a past American Bar Association Antitrust Section Young Lawyer Representative for the Media & Technology Committee and the Unilateral Conduct Committee, and a past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association Competition Law Section Young Lawyers Committee.

Background
In 2014, David was awarded the James H. Bocking Memorial Award which is presented annually for the best paper submitted to the CBA National Competition Law Section on a subject relating to Canadian competition law or policy.

Prior to joining Stikeman Elliott, David summered, articled, and practised for three years at another national law firm.
