Description
Deborah joined Cavalluzzo as an associate in 2019 after articling with the firm. She practices primarily in the areas of Labour Law, Human Rights, and Professional Regulation.

Deborah received her law degree from McGill University’s Faculty of Law in 2018. Throughout law school, she demonstrated a commitment to working collaboratively with communities seeking social, political, and economic justice. She coordinated a migrant justice project, helped found a prisoners’ legal support collective, and volunteered as an advisor at community poverty clinic. Deborah was also active in her school’s mooting program, through which she pleaded in front of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin and placed second in the 2017 Wilson Moot.

Prior to entering law school, Deborah earned a B.A. from McGill University and an M.A. from New York University, both in Middle East Studies.
