Dong Liu operates Dong’s Law Office, a general practice in Ottawa, serving mainly the local communities. Dong came from mainland China and speaks both Mandarin and Cantonese dialects. As of 2017, she has obtained four degrees, B.A. in English Language and Literature in 1983 from Wuhan University, Master in Journalism from Carleton University in 1991, LLB/JD from University of Ottawa in 2007 and LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2017.
