Erica Olmstead practices in all areas of immigration, refugee and criminal law.

Erica graduated with a law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2010. She has assisted individuals from all over the world make applications to immigrate and obtain status in Canada and to resolve issues of admissibility. She regularly appears before all Divisions of the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court, and she has acted in cases before the British Columbia Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Erica also works as a case review lawyer with the Legal Services Society, Appeals Department, where she advises staff on immigration, refugee and criminal law issues and works to support access to justice. She is an instructor with the University of British Columbia Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures (CILPP) program, and is a regular presenter at immigration and refugee legal education conferences and events in British Columbia.
