A founding partner of Lindsay Kenney LLP, Frank Potts is the firm’s Solicitor of Record and one of its most senior and experienced litigators. He has considerable trial and appellate experience and has appeared at all levels of Court, including the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He is the firm’s Managing Partner and head of the Fraud Litigation Group.As a general litigator and well known fraud and commercial lawyer in Vancouver, Mr. Potts has handled leading cases in a number of areas, including corporate and commercial law, shareholder’s disputes, internal and external fraud, and regulatory matters. He is particularly known for his strength in handling multi-party complex litigation matters.Mr. Potts was born in Calgary, Alberta and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours First Class) in 1974 from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Laws in 1977 from the University of British Columbia. He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1978.Mr. Potts has taught civil litigation and criminal law at Simon Fraser University as well as at Capilano, Douglas and Fraser Valley Colleges. Known for his extensive experience as a fraud and commercial lawyer, he has been a seminar speaker and guest lecturer for various government and professional organizations.
