Gordon Mitchell grew up in Brandon, MB. He studied commerce at the University of Manitoba for 2 years and, then, earned a law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School of York University in Toronto. He was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1980.
Gordon works as a solicitor doing primarily corporate and commerical work including buying and selling businesses (M&A work), buying and selling apartment buildings, hotels, and other commercial real estate, setting up and reorganizing closely held corporations and trusts (estate planning), commercial leasing, partnership agreements, and shareholders agreements.
