Description
Prior to becoming a family lawyer, Jennifer managed and led teams for over 15 years, marketing and raising funds for organizations such as Yale University, St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation, Western University and Robarts Research Institute.

Because of her passion for helping others, particularly those who are vulnerable and marginalized, Jennifer decided to leave her successful career and pursue her dream of becoming a family lawyer. After working with a leading law firm in London, Jennifer opened a family law practice and provided family law services through Community Legal Services at Western University, coaching and training law students in family law. She continued to mentor and teach students through her role as an Adjunct Professor for the Family Law Externship and the foundational Family Law course at Western University.

Jennifer continues to support her local and legal communities through her volunteer work with such programs as London Lawyers Feed the Hungry and Pro Bono Students Canada.

While at law school, Jennifer received the J.G. McLeod Scholarship in Family Law, the Brad Hodgson Civil Litigation Award, the Paul Bradley Prize in Real Estate Law and was also on the Dean’s Honour List. Jennifer was also the Head Student Supervisor at Community Legal Services and the Assistant Student Coordinator at Western’s Dispute Resolution Centre. She also volunteered for the Family Law Project and participated in the Family Law Externship.
