As a civil litigator who specializes in medical malpractice and personal injury, Jeremy often draws on his past experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to better understand the needs and concerns of his clients and their families in order to help them navigate their complex situations. While completing his undergraduate studies in New York City, Jeremy assisted children and adults with special needs with activities relating to daily living. The skills he developed as a PSW, including being attentive to client needs, showing sensitivity to their feelings, and providing a personalized level of care, have served him well in his legal career and has allowed him to become a stronger advocate for individuals with disabilities.After receiving a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (Magna Cum Laude) from Yeshiva University in New York City and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa, Jeremy articled at another nationally recognized boutique medical malpractice law firm. Following his call to the bar in 2014, Jeremy served as Co-Counsel on various and highly complex medical malpractice actions, many of which were a result of paediatric or obstetrical negligence.Jeremy is a passionate civil litigator who has successfully appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board.Representative CasesCo-Counsel – Butler v Royal Victoria Hospital, 2017 ONSC 2792 ($5.2 Million Birth Injury Award)
