Licensed to practice as a U.S. attorney and Canadian lawyer, Krista’s practice focuses on business immigration, employment and privacy law with experience in private practice and in the oil and gas, construction, engineering, infrastructure, information technology, retail and transportation industries. Krista has experience providing immigration-related advice and labour estimates on multi-million dollar bids, as well as managing large immigration portfolios for clients in a broad range of industries. She regularly advises on immigration and labour strategy and workforce planning for US and Canada based clients. Krista advises on immigrant and nonimmigrant status in the US, preparing petitions in a variety of categories including L-1, TN, E-1, E-2, E-3, B-1 and H-1, as well as employment-based and family-based green card application and waiver petitions. She regularly prepares Canadian temporary and permanent immigration applications and advises employers on immigration strategy of cross-border travel of personnel and of all nationalities coming into Canada or the U.S.

Krista also has an active employment and privacy law practice advising on all areas of the employment relationship from hiring practices, workplace policies, termination and post-termination obligations.
