Laila is a seasoned advisor having developed a broad range of expertise in the areas of corporate and commercial law, with a focus on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. She represents clients in various industries and is trusted corporate counsel to both small and medium size corporations. Laila routinely assists clients set up their corporate structures, negotiate shareholder and partnership agreements and implement corporate restructurings. In addition, Laila has significant experience in commercial leasing matters and represents both landlords and tenants in lease negotiations and settlements. Clients turn to Laila for her in-depth knowledge of the legal process, her no-nonsense and practical approach and her commitment to achieving results.

When she is not at the office, Laila is a busy dance and hockey mom.
