With over 45 years of experience, Larry is an expert in Family Law. As a founding partner at KZEL, he has practiced in Richmond since 1974. With over 30 years of experience in the adoption field and 45 years in Family Law, Larry is one of the leading authorities on adoption and reproductive technology law in BC. Larry is accredited as a Family Law Mediator, Family Law Arbitrator, and a Parenting Coordinator by the Law Society of BC. He has been accredited as a member of the B.C. Hear the Child Society and has been retained to prepare Views of the Child Reports. Larry has been appointed as a Parenting Coordinator and has interviewed children on numerous occasions as part of these roles. Larry was named a Leading Practitioner in B.C. for the family law practice area in the 2019 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory.Larry is also the partner responsible for the firm’s Assisted Reproductive Technology practice. He is one of the leading authorities on adoption and reproductive technology law in Canada. Larry was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2008.
