Profile
Mai is an associate at Beard Winter LLP and a member of the insurance defence practice group. Prior to joining Beard Winter LLP, Mai completed her articles in her hometown of Ottawa at one of Cananda’s largest national firms, following which she gained insurance defence experience at a downtown Toronto litigation boutique. Mai’s practice focuses on insurance disputes including motor vehicle litigation, statutory accident benefits, occupiers’ liability, homeowners’ liability, fraud and subrogation, and related coverage issues. Mai was called to the Bar in 2011 after obtaining her J.D. from the University of Windsor. She also holds a B.A. in Philisophy from Carleton University and a B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of Ottawa.
