I work in the McLennan Ross Yellowknife office, working with our northern clients, both unionized and non-unionized, advising them on all types of issues that arise in the workplace, including employment agreements, collective agreement interpretations, labour standards, safety, human rights and privacy issues.I have an extensive social justice background and I am committed to access to justice initiatives, especially public legal education and information. While completing my law degree at McGill University, I also specialized in international human rights and development, which led me to article at the Office of Staff Legal Assistance at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya. This provided me with direct experience in labour and employment law as I represented UN staff members around the world in labour disputes and disciplinary matters before the United Nations Dispute Tribunals and the UN Appeals Tribunal. Upon my return to Canada, my practice grew to also include assisting those with sensitive immigration issues such as stays of removals, humanitarian and compassionate applications.
