Description
I studied social science at York University and obtained my law degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. I have worked extensively with the African Canadian Legal Clinic, as both a summer research student and articling student. As a summer student, I met with clients from all over Ontario and conducted legal research to advance their claims. As an articling student, I researched and assisted in drafting two legal factums that went to the Supreme Court of Canada.I then completed my articles at Ciraku Law Office, a boutique practice specializing in personal injury, and other civil litigation matters. I have appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice and Licence and Appeal Tribunal.
