Michael P. Doherty, B.A., M.A., LL.B., M.Jur., Ph.D., has been a litigation lawyer for almost three decades. Since being called to the bar, he has been counsel in private practice, with a public interest law office, and most recently for government. He has appeared before trial and appellate courts as well as regulatory and administrative tribunals, and has also taught law. The 5th edition of his book The Portable Guide to Evidence was published in 2017.
