Morgyn R. Chandler has practiced personal injury litigation with Hammerberg Lawyers LLP since joining the firm in 2009.Morgyn regularly represents clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Notably, Morgyn appeared before the BC Court of Appeal and successfully argued that Solicitor’s liens can apply retroactively to settlements (Fitzgibbon v. Piters, 2012 BCCA 269).Over the years, she has gained a deep understanding of how insurance companies approach legal actions. As such, Morgyn proactively develops astute legal strategies that serve her clients well. She is a determined advocate with a successful track record of winning exceptional rewards for her clients.Morgyn has served on the Board of Directors of the Lower Mainland Grief Recovery Society for two years. Her Board involvement brings an added appreciation of the hurdles her personal-injury clients must confront and overcome – physically and emotionally. Her community involvement also helps her continue to develop as a dedicated advocate for her clients.Morgyn believes strongly that establishing and maintaining open, honest and ongoing communication with her clients is critical to building successful relationships and ensuring the best possible outcome.
