Description
Nicholas (Nick) Badeen is counsel in the Financial Products & Services Group. His practice focuses on both public and private fund markets, and includes the formation, structuring and distribution of various funds and pooled investment vehicles, including private equity, private credit, infrastructure, mortgage, real estate, hedge, closed-end, and mutual funds. Nick has significant experience advising domestic and international sponsor and investor clients on asset management arrangements, including the formation and capitalization of a broad range of funds. He also advises fund managers and investment dealers on securities registration, regulatory and compliance matters.

Nick is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
