Nickolas graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2016. Prior to law school, Nickolas graduated from the University of Waterloo, with an Honours (Dean’s List) Bachelor of Arts degree, having majored in Political Science and minored in both Economics and Spanish and Latin American Studies.
During law school, Nickolas summered with a major American firm in the long-term care and seniors living industry, supporting regulatory compliance and market entry projects as a member of the corporate and legal affairs team. Upon completing law school, Nickolas was awarded the Benjamin Laufer Prize in International Law. Nickolas then articled with a mid-sized Toronto law firm, where he found his calling in the practice of family law.
Upon being called to the Ontario Bar in 2017, Nickolas worked for 2 years as an Associate at a boutique law firm in Mississauga. There he honed his skills and gained ample experience practicing employment and family law, before turning his focus solely onto family law.
Nickolas believes in families, and is dedicated to helping guide them through their most difficult times. Nickolas’s practical approach cuts through the noise and emotion that so often complicates family law, brings parties to the table wherever possible, and finds a solution without compromising his tenacious commitment to his clients. His persuasive communication, command of several languages, and sensitive yet direct approach makes Nickolas an asset to his clients, both inside and outside of the courtroom.
When not in the office, Nickolas enjoys traveling, literature, perhaps a bit too much debating politics with friends, and playing his guitars.
