Description
Nora has been a lawyer for over 17 years. Born and raised in Romania, Nora attended the University of Babes Bolyai in Cluj Napoca, Romania, where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1999. She then practiced as in-house counsel with a Romanian bank and had regular conduct of files dealing with real estate, security transactions, foreclosure proceedings and international banking transactions. Nora emigrated to Canada in 2003 and she earned her second law degree from the University of Victoria in 2008. Nora was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2009 and she now restricts her practice to Family Law. Nora has experience appearing in both the BC Supreme Court and the BC Court of Appeal. She also has extensive experience conducting Provincial Court family law hearings. In her spare time Nora enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, which includes skiing, hiking, camping and biking with her young family. She is fluent in both English and Romanian.
