Description
Peter is a lawyer and a credentialed workplace investigator (AWI-CH) through the Association of Workplace Investigators, an ANSI accredited program. Peter was called to the Ontario Bar in 2008. Peter’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation with an emphasis on employment law and workplace investigations. Peter is also Harris + Harris LLP’s lead workplace investigator for all issues including but not limited to:
i) Workplace harassment;
ii) Sexual harassment;
iii) Workplace violence;
iv) Discrimination based upon a prohibited ground;
v) Failure to accommodate; and
vi) A breach of company policy.
Peter has significant experience in assisting clients with strategizing and executing the most effective course of action in achieving their desired goals. Peter has worked closely with and advised human resources departments on employment law matters, inclusive of creating employee policies, procedures and handbooks.
