Born in New York City, Bob Friedland has been the Sheriff of a JudicialDistrict; an investigator for the United States Treasury Department; a RegionalDirector of the Alberta Human Rights Commission; Human Rights Advisor forMalaspina University-College; a two-term City Councillor in Victoria, BritishColumbia; and, Chief Lawyer for a group of seven First Nations in the Interiorof British Columbia.  Bob currently practices human rights and administrative law in Vancouver, British Columbia.
