Associate, Employment & Labour Relations

Saadia Naim is an Associate in the Employment and Labour Relations practice at McMillan.

Saadia has worked on a variety of files including individual and policy grievances, jurisdictional disputes, unfair labour practice complaints, wrongful dismissals, small claims, interventions, class actions, and individual multi-million dollar lawsuits. She has prepared witnesses for hearings, completed intakes, and compiled books of documents; as well as drafted legal opinions, briefs, statements of claims, and declarations and affidavits. She has also independently carried human rights and small claims cases.

Bilingual in Spanish and English with intermediate knowledge of French and Urdu, Saadia has extensive community involvement from her work at the Muslim Legal Support Centre and Parkdale Community Legal Services as well as volunteer roles with Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights and Amnesty International.

Saadia is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School where she was Oralist for Osgoode’s team in the Federal Court Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Law Moot.
