Ms. Nichols’ practice at Neuberger & Partners focuses on criminal and regulatory charges as well as fraud related civil actions. Ms. Nichols has developed a thriving practice defending a range of offences, dealing largely with sexual and domestic assault, as well as impaired driving charges. She has also been retained to defend several large prosecutions, including defending several clients charged with first degree murder. In addition, Ms. Nichols has extensive experience in dealing with mental health cases both in the trial courts and before the Ontario Review Board. Ms. Nichols practice regularly involves constitutional litigation, as she has been engaged with several noteworthy constitutional challenges to federal legislation.
