Stephen is a Counsel in our Summerside office who practices as a corporate commercial lawyer with a focus on acquisitions and corporate finance. He is recognized as one of the leading corporate commercial lawyers in Prince Edward Island. In addition, Stephen has developed a large practice with respect to immigration principally concentrating on immigration investment generated through the Provincial Nominee Program of the Province of Prince Edward Island. Stephen was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2005. Stephen was a long-time member of the Council of the Law Society of Prince Edward Island and served as its President 2009/2010. Stephen sat as the Law Society Rep on the Federal Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee for six (6) years and currently is the Prince Edward Island representative onf the Council of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Stephen initially began his practice in the city of Fredericton in 1975, and practiced in New Brunswick until moving to Prince Edward Island in 1985. While in New Brunswick, in addition to his practice, he was lecturer at the University of New Brunswick in the Faculty of Law 1976 to 1985.
