Details
Steven practices in the areas of employment (including wrongful dismissal, discrimination, and harassment), criminal, and family law. Steven also provides employers with legal services including the drafting of employment contracts, workplace policies, and advice concerning termination.
He attended the University of Toronto where he received an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Steven completed his LL.B. at the University of Leicester School of Law in the United Kingdom where he was a finalist in the Weightmans LLP Negotiations Competition.
Community Involvement
Steven is passionate about youth mentorship and has served as a supervisor for the YMCA, managing an after-school program assisting inner-city youth from low socio-economic backgrounds. Steven has also volunteered with the Hamilton Community Legal Clinic assisting individuals with their applications to the Ontario Disability Support Program. Currently, Steven is an active member of the Ontario Bar Association, where he sits on the Professional Development Committee and is an advisor to Nobelum a non-profit organization mandated to create a space for black-owned startups in S.T.E.M. Steven is an accomplished pianist and enjoys playing soccer and running.
