Stewart Muglich is an Associate Counsel at Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP and is the leader of the Corporate Finance + Securities Practice and the Mergers + Acquisitions Team. He is also a member of the Corporate / Commercial Practice Group.

Stewart has a broad range of experience in the corporate finance and securities areas, and has been involved in numerous corporate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations and going private transactions. He assists clients with public and private offerings and other financings, including exempt, registered, Rule 144A, Regulation S and initial public offerings, and acts for both issuers and investment bankers. Stewart also provides strategic advice on both proxy contests and hostile and negotiated takeover bids.

He is experienced in cross-border offerings and acquisitions and is well versed in regulatory compliance issues, including corporate governance matters, which arise in Canada and the United States under the regulatory framework of the Toronto Stock Exchange, the TSX Venture Exchange, the Canadian Securities Exchange, NASDAQ, the NYSE, the Provinces of Canada, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
