Vanessa brings a dynamic approach to her civil litigation practice, with a particular focus on insurance and commercial matters. Her courtroom experience shines through extensive trial involvement, including jury trials at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. She also has experience with examinations for discovery, contested motions, mediations and trials.

Vanessa has served in a number of volunteer roles, including with Pro Bono Students Canada on its Family Law Project, showcasing her dedication to a well-rounded legal foundation.

Engaged in legal circles, Vanessa actively participates in associations such as Canadian Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society. Her accolades, including The Charles Edward Woodrow Award from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Political Science Academic Excellence Award from York University, underscore her commitment to excellence in the field.
