Jessie obtained her LLM in China and practiced law for a few years before she immigrated to Canada. After getting her accreditation, she articled in a boutique real estate law firm, then work in a full-service law firm. She was called to the bar of Ontario in 2022. Recently, Jessie completed an intensive program in wills and estates at Osgoode Hall Law School.
