Yvonne was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. Yvonne received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from St. Francis Xavier University in 2009.

Yvonne completed her Juris Doctorate Degree at the University of British Columbia in 2013, articled with Beaumont Church LLP and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2014. Yvonne is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
